It's pen season again and I'm back on blank duty.
Here's a couple of new ones...
African Blackwood with sapwood. Finished with CA.
Corian segment. Polished to a glass like shine. A nice heavy pen.

Hey I really like your blackwood pen i can even see from the picture how good a finish you have got, I am starting to make pens myself but working mostly in native Irish species like beech,yew, oak and elm.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Pen turning is a lot of fun and a great way to bring some revenue into the shop. Yew is one of those great looking woods you have over there.
ReplyDeleteThe blackwood had a CA finish. A bit tricky, but worth the efforts in durability and shine!
